The International Symposium on Tick-Borne Pathogens and Disease (ITPD) 2026 will take place from 22–25 March 2026 in Vienna, Austria. Organised by the Austrian Society of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine (ÖGHMP) in cooperation with the ESCMID Study Group for Lyme Borreliosis (ESGBOR), the symposium brings together researchers, clinicians, and laboratory professionals focused on ticks, tick-borne pathogens, and the diseases they cause.
Established by Professor Gerold Stanek in 2017, the ITPD symposium provides an interdisciplinary platform for discussing the latest advances in research, diagnostics, epidemiology, and clinical management of tick-borne infections.
